This problem probably because of the computer version. It should update via PC not MacBook. According to this problem, kindly send a video to our customer service email to show your update process which includes your PC version in the video.
Firmware Lookup for Meike Lens line-up
First prepare a Type-C or Type-A cable
Plug one end into your computer
Another end into our lens
Open my computer and the lens disk
This is the 85mm F1.4 E-mount lens
This number is the current version number
Firmware Upgrade
Open the Internet browser directly
Go to the Meike website
www.mkgrip.com
Go to the Meike website and scroll down
Find Service and Support
Then click on Download and Suppor
Find the upgrade file of the corresponding lens
Click on the name of the corresponding lens mount firmware file and download it.
This is the 85mm F1.4 E-mount lens
Download the file
Unzip the file and copy it to your desktop
Connect the data cable to the computer
Open the corresponding disk
Then we copy or drag the upgraded lens into the folder
The disk is ejected after the replication is complete
After that we can just unplug it
Complete estimated upgrade
You can also check it again in reverse
It's the same as before
If the firmware version is the same as the one we just downloaded, the upgrade was successful
There are some lenses that don't have this text file
But the upgrade process is the same

1.Connect the lens to the computer
2.Log in to Meikes official website www.mkgrip.com
3.Find the Downloads & Support
4.Download the corresponding lens or other products
upgrade firmware zip package
5.Unzip the file
6.Copy the upgrade file to a lens or other products disk
7.Upgrade completed
