Meike 85mm f1.8 Pro Full Frame Auto Focus STM Lens for E Mount Cameras -Low Dispersion&High Resolution

I have been incredibly impressed with the Meike 85mm f/1.8 Pro. The image quality this lens produces is truly exceptional. The colors are rich and true to life, and the sharpness is outstanding, providing a fantastic look to both stills and video. The build quality also feels robust and premium, and it balances perfectly on my Sony A7 III.
​If there is one minor drawback, it would be the autofocus. It can occasionally stutter or hunt a bit depending on the situation. However, considering the sheer quality of the optics and the overall value, this is a very small compromise. Overall, it's a superb lens that delivers amazing results. Highly recommended!

I use the lens on Sony a7cII and I’m impressed how good is. Manual focus it’s soft and give a clean image. I’m happy to use this lens.

I bought this lens after looking at Christopher Cross review. It does exactly, what i was looking for, in an 85mm F/1.8 lens. Very little chromatic aberration in the out of focus region, good detail even at F/1.8.
Construction feels solid, i can use the aperture ring, to control DOF and i configured the focus ring to control the exposure compensation.
To simplify, i'm very happy with this lens. I am an amateur photographer, so didn't want to pay 1000$ for a portrait lens.

Wow what a brilliant lens, excellent manual focus control and I've tried a few lenses now and this is the best one I have for manual focusing. Great auto focusing too and creamy bokeh. I have it on an aps-c body and it works flawlessly giving amazing depth of field and separation, feels light to use and is just such a good lens for the money. I am seriously impressed with the quality of the optics and it feels really nice to use. Well designed, what more can I say just a fabulous lens. Well done meike, my first lens I have from this brand and I reckon it's not going to be my last! Cheers.
