I bought the 35mm s35 for my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k and i have to say the quality is flawless. I don’t usually write reviews on products i buy, but this one really deserved one. I think this is the best budget cinema lenses in the market; no distortion, no focus breathing and even very sharp wide open (with beautiful cat eye bokeh and color fidelity). I truly suggest to buy this lens, or the other from the full set, for a true cinematic experience!

When you are bending physics to your will, there is always a compromise. With these S35 primes you get wonderful falloff, low distortion, and nearly no breathing, so what could possibly be the trade off? Well now all my old glass worth thousands has no purpose, just sitting in the closet; a good problem to have if you ask me.

The build feels solid. The throw feels wonderful. Great entry level cine lens.
