      One of a kind lens

      Great super-wide angle lens! Sharp and bright, only such good lens in this price range. Best thing is it's zero distortion and 77 mm filter thread, it doesn't vignette on 16:9 image (Blackmagic), however, 4:3 image (Lumix) have visible filter ring in corners.

      Nice lens with one flaw

      I purchased the Meike 8mm f/2.8 primarily for astro and sky photography. While it works well for the intended purpose the clickless aperture is driving me crazy. I have resorted to taping the aperture ring in place for nighttime photography so that I don't have to keep checking the setting with a flashlight (torch).
