Lens Mount: 50mm F1.8-Z Mount

50mm/F1.8 is a frequently-used portrait lens, which can provide sharp image for daily shooting.

Capture stunning landscape shots with the 50mm F1.8 Auto Focus Lens. Perfect for Z/E Mount cameras, this lens delivers sharp and clear images for portrait photography. Achieve a professional look with its precise auto focus and wide aperture. Ideal for expert photographers seeking to enhance their landscape photography skills.

The lens is easy to carry and its images are sharp and clear at any aperture.

The brand new 50mm/F1.8 uses the newest optical structure, making it able to achieve a large aperture of F1.8 while maintaining miniaturization and lightweight. Multi-layer coating technology is used on both sides of the lens to restore more realistic colors. The lens is not easy to attach dust or stains, and can be easily wiped clean.

Modulation transmission function:

7 groups 11 elements

  • Lens double-sided multilayer coating, 1 ED lens, 1 high refraction lens, effectively control CA, ghosting, flare. The closest focusing distance reaches 0.63m, and the ability to take macro shots is just as impressive.

MTF Chart

  • With 9 aperture blades for a softer bokeh effect, the shallow depth of field it creates makes the background more defocused to highlight the subject when shooting portraits, and at the same time, the shutter speed can be increased accordingly to freeze the moment under the same parameters.

Fantastic 50mm Prime For The Price!

I already have the Lumix 50mm Prime lens for use with my Lumix S5 ii, but was intrigued as to whether the Meike would compare well.
Initial test shots showed that the lens was adequate but when I did some portrait shotts of my Granddaughter it was clearly more than adequate. So if you're thinking of getting this budget lens for whatever mount, I would suggest strongly that you do. The results are as sharp as you would hope and for such a cheap lens it doesn't feel cheap at all. Recommended as a budget prime lens whatever your format.

Great value and image quality

This lens is a steal. Image quality is comparable to my old Nikon 50 1.8G for less than an FTZ adapter, is enough for me. Last, it has a rubber seal which is great.
