MEIKE 85mm f1.8 Medium Format Auto Focus G Mount Portrait Lens for Fujifilm GFX Systems Mirrorless Cameras

I have ordered this lens as soon as I learned it was announced. I already have a couple of nice GFX lenses, including 55/1.7 but no 80/1.7 (getting which I was contemplating several times). I also have experience with large amount of FF glass, including several variations 85mm lenses from different manufacturers.
TLDR:
+ very sharp in the center even wide open on my GFX 50s ii
+ surprisingly lightweight, but sturdy!
+ AF is very fast and snappy; definitely better than Fuji's 55/1.7, minimally slower than GF 35-70 (which is probably as fast as it gets); this is ages better than any adapted lens
+ the built-in lens profile applies the chromatic aberration, vignetting and distortion corrections automatically in LR
+ speaking of, the vignetting is OK for this lens; no signs of physical vignetting in the pictures i have taken
+ chromatic aberrations are nicely controlled; after disabling corrections some minimal LCAs are visible, but it's better than most 85mm lenses I have owned over the years
+ the rendition is nice and the bokeh for portraits is very much giving the venerable medium format vibe
+/- I wish it had a physical aperture ring
- the sharpness on the edges is not great, even after stopping down; this is perhaps the biggest flaw of the lens (and clearly visible in the MTF charts too, if hesitating, just look at the charts and get your idea if it's going to be a problem for you); thankfully, it's mostly far corners and since this is a portrait lens predominantly, probably not going to be important (it is not for me)
Overall: just get it. For the price, it's a no brainer. Hope Meike will follow up with more GFX releases!
It's really great. I'm satisfied with the high resolution in the center, too.
