Good Bokeh lens

Auto focus work fine with EF to RF adaptor. Receive it only less than a week from Meike, hope can improve on noise from focusing. thank you

Awesome value for money

The photos were of extremely good quality. Love the bokeh and happy with the speed of autofocusing. The suggestion for improvement is to silent the focusing motor. It's quite loud.

So far so good!

I bought this lens primarily for astrophotography where the f1.8 is really useful in gathering light from targets. I manually set the focus at infinity with maybe a small adjustment when I zoom right in on a target, so the autofocus is not really my focus!. So far the lens has been really good. I did some Moon shots and general sky at night, just to see how the long exposures (I have a star tracking mount) came out, and it looks like I'll be making quite a lot of use of this lens. The price makes it a no brainer for my hobby. I also did some test shots indoors, of flowers and scenery outdoors, all worked really well. As with many lenses, edge quality improves if you stop down a couple of places. Be aware that the autofocus isn't silent. I'm happy I purchased this lens and recommend it. (in reply to Sabina, I am using an EOS750D (t6i) and when it's powered off I get no lights on and no battery drain with this lens attached, so it must be something specific to your 5D, I would investigate what that light that's blinking is meant to indicate).
